II International Youth Volleyball Tournament of Getxo

In the Spanish Federation's training sessions

Last weekend the members of our club Lucia Enciondo, Ariane Vegas and Ane Zorrozua took part in some beach volley training sessions organized by the Spanish federation in the south of Tenerife. Our coaches Alberto Olalde and Iñaki Elorriaga were also invited to assist as auxiliar coaches.

All of them agree that it has been a great experience and hope they can take part in a similar activity in the near future.

II INTERNATIONAL YOUTH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT OF GETXO

The event will take place in Getxo during Christmas 2009 from Monday 28th December to Tuesday 29th December 2009 and 8 female teams (under-16) are going to participate (born on 1994-95) in this competition.

Winners of the under 19 Spanish beach volley championship!

Two of our players, Lucia Enciondo and Ane Zorrozua, got the first place in the Spanish Championship that took place between the 16th and 19th July in A Coruña.

They arrived in top form after months of hard work we just have to see the good result obteined. We must take into acount that it has been the best result that the Basque Country has ever achieved.

The 5th place they got last year wasn’t enough for them, who saw the necesity to continue improving their marks.

Congratulate as well other two of our players, Ane Bilbao and Aintzane Casado, that took part in the under 21 cathegory.
